Last week was the banquet for the end of the season for my cheer girls. A lot of them will be coming back next season, but the girls who are 8th graders will be moving on to high school teams.
I wish them all the best, of course, and hope that they do well in all they pursue.
One of the 8th graders is so sweet, and brought the coaches flowers! Mine were pink and have been brightening up my kitchen since last week!
One of the other moms gave us gift cards to a favorite restaurant, which is a nice thank you at the end of the season.
A major perk to the cheerleading job, that I didn’t expect at all, is how cool a lot of the parents are. They really appreciate the work we do, which is a really great feeling.
